Where are you from and what do you do when you’re not creating?
Originally Born in South Dakota to a military family, we moved around a lot. I currently reside near San Antonio Texas, but will be moving to Florida in the next year.
When I am not creating with my Monthly Smart Art Box, I am creating and editing for my YouTube channel. I am also (prior to COVID) a Cruise and Disney Fanatic and often traveled to Florida and Beyond.
When did you begin your artistic journey, and why?
All my life I have wanted to be an artist, but it wasn't until recently that I actually considered myself to be one. I have always dabbled in all arts and crafts, but when I dipped my toes in the deep end of Mixed Media and Art Journaling I was immediately taken. About 4 years ago, I had been laid off at a job that I had been at for 7 years, I was devastated and didn't know where to turn so I began my mixed media journey. It has grown immensely, and I have met a lot of amazing people along the way who convinced me to get out of my comfort zone and share my work on YouTube.
Are there any artists that inspire you?
I have always been inspired by Van Gogh's Starry Night and Edvard Munch's The Scream as well as the amazing creations by YouTube Mixed Media Artists.
What made you want to subscribe to Smart Art Box?
I have been a subscriber to the Smart Art monthly boxes since the very first box. The idea of new & unique art supplies every month helps to expand my artistic knowledge and abilities.
How has the pandemic affected your creative process?
Spending time mostly at home gave me the opportunity to enhance my skills as an artist as well as a YouTube Creator.
Do you have a favorite medium you are hoping will be in your next Smart Art Box?
I do not, I am open to all mediums. I like to embrace the challenge even when it's not my normal go to medium.
New and different then all the other companies would be nice, and I love when the boxes are project based, (as in: here is everything you need to make this... or do that.)

Smart Art Boxes have helped me learn and grow through my Artistic Journey.
